A lot of people ask for details on how I create these drawings, so here’s a brief description.

I look through Men for Men ads on Craigslist and find those that are interesting, quirky, inconsistent (photo to title) or just have photographs with very nice compositions.  I draw the photos that the post-er has posted of themselves, scan these in, then upload to “Reply To This Post”.  The text on the drawing is the title of the ad.  If there is text in the brackets { } it is the body of the ad, which I found too integral to the essence of the piece not to post.  I don’t change wording or typos.  I only interpret the photo into a picture, and post it with the person’s own words.
